Apache Turtle Dance Shield by Bear Romero

This deer skin turtle shield is handpainted and finished with an obsidian arrowhead, an opal set in Sterling silver, and a beaded strap, leather ties and feathers all tied to a handbent willow. Many Native Americans believe we are living on the back of a turtle. The turtle also represents longevity and, of course, water. A really wonderful one-of-a-kind piece. Certificate of Authenticity included.
